Ayushya Homa is performed for long life with good health. Ayushya Homa is performed on the occasion of Birthday every year for rejuvenation, vitality and longevity. It is also curing serious health problems mental disorders effectively. It acts as a remedy for mental illness and physical problems. Ayushya Homa is considered highly beneficent for all aged people. Most people are used to perform this homa during first year birthday of a child for long life and good health. Ayushya homa can be performed every year called “Abdipoorti mahotsavam” on their birth star (Janma Nakshatra) of the birth month (Hindu Birth day celebration) it is believed that performing Ayush homam on their birthday eradicates all Evil Effects and the child is bestowed with long life and good health. Ayush homam is performed by learned vedic pandits usually during the child’s naming ceremony also, wishing for the child’s wellness and a happy life thereafter. Ayushya Homa avoids unforeseen accidents or fatal illness also.

Dravyas Offered: Ajya (ghee), Charu (boiled rice) Doorva (a type of grass). Grass dipped into mixture of ghee, honey and curd.
Danas: Kalasha, ajya, navadhanya, phala danas given at the end.

- Anujna (Getting the blessings of elders and Veda pandits)
- Vighneshvara (Ganapati) pooja (to remove all obstacles)

- ShudhiPunyahaVachanam – The Purification ritual (the ritual performed before the ceremony for the purification of the body, place, and pooja materials, Shudhi (purification) Mantras are chanted then mantra purified water is sprinkled over all the people participating and the items.)
