HomaAhuti materials (Dravyas) differs based on your needs. Normaly we offer Cow’s ghee, Bermuda grass, (Doorva) Arkasamit. SahasraModakahoma is a very famous one. AshtadravyaHoma, predominantly, the Ashtadhravyahoma (mixing of 8 different materials) is done. The Ashtadravya consists of 1. Modhaka, (a type of sweet) 2. Pruthuka, (beaten Rice) 3. Puffed paddy,(Laja) 4. Flour (Saktu) 5. Sugarcane, (Ikshudanda) 6. Coconut, (Nalikera) 7. Sesame seeds (Thila ) and 8. Bananas, (Kadali). Each material resembles a lord (Devatha).
