Navagraha Sandhi Shanti Homas:

In a lifetime of a person, when the transition is happening from KhujaDasha to RahuDasha, RahuDasha,to Guru Dasha and ShukraDasha to AdithyaDasha. There will be enmity between these planets that could cause ill health, accident,etc. Hence 6 months before the transition we must perform the SandhiShanthiHoma. Procedure: First Navagrahahoma needs to be done.Then for the sandhiGrahas special 6-8 Dravyas are offered based on sandhi.Mruthyunjayapooja is also done for the MruthyuParihara (escaping from death-causing accidents)
